Meet Stephen Delaney!
In 2017, with the support of TLI Group, Stephen undertook a level 7 BSc in Quantity Surveying and, through hard work and dedication, passed with flying colours! As a result, Stephen has progressed in his role with TLI Group and is now a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Stephen is now undertaking a BSc (Hons) Degree in Quantity Surveying and is looking forward to elevating his career even further.

“In 2017, I committed to furthering my education through Sligo IT’s online study option and with the support of TLI Group. My chosen course was the Quantity Surveying BSc Level 7 degree which is a two-year online course. This was a huge undertaking for me at the time, but with plenty of support from my colleagues, I completed this course with top marks and the skills to begin my new career as a Quantity Surveyor.
From my studies, I have developed the tools needed to carry out my daily tasks as a Quantity Surveyor, which includes, measuring work, preparing profit and loss statements, administering contracts, preparing monthly accounts, and dealing directly with clients and subcontractors. In the four years since I graduated, I have progressed in my role to a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
I am very fortunate to have the full support of TLI Group in my quest to complete the Quantity Surveying BSc (Hons) Degree. Hopefully, over the coming two years, I will have achieved my goal to complete the Quantity Surveyor Honours degree and from there, use these skills to elevate my career and provide a better service to TLI Group.
Without the continuing support from TLI Group, I would not be where I am today in my career, and I am deeply grateful for it.”
