TLI Group have recently completed all commissioning works at Knockranny 110 kV substation; a 12 bay double busbar station constructed to facilitate the largest wind farm in Ireland. This was an exciting project which involved commissioning of electrical plant not common to substations in Ireland, for example:
- Type C Filter Bank – The first of its kind in Ireland
- 18 MVAr Air Core Reactor
- Point on Wave Circuit Breakers and associated controllers
