220kV HTLS Conductor Upgrade
TLI have completed 28KM of 220kV HTLS conductor upgrade on the Killonan - Knockraha line.
The towers range in height from 15M to 30M.
The line’s capacity has been greatly improved to cater for increased renewable energy loads.

220kV Cullenagh – Knockraha 600’s HTLS Conductor Upgrade
TLI have completed the 54KM of 220kV Cullenagh – Knockraha 600’s HTLS conductor upgrade. TLI are the first contractor in the country to undertake such work in association with ESB Networks and Eirgrid. This work to the national grid is vital for the additional load coming onto the system from renewable energy projects.

Cauteen 110kV Substation Gantrys
TLI have been contracted by Kirby Group to undertake the stringing of the 600 AAC Hawthorn conductor on the Gantrys of the newly constructed 110kV contestable Cauteen Substation.
TLI have also undertaken the design and build of the grid connection including 2 no. type 149 masts. The network connection design which was undertaken by TLI will meet the requirements of Eirgrid and ESB networks.

Grouse Lodge Windfarm
TLI have recently installed a load break switch on the Grouse Lodge Windfarm Network Connection for ESB Wind.
The work was undertaken by one of the experienced TLI High Voltage teams.
The project involves 7KM 38kV windfarm network connection including 11 no. type 63C towers, 55 double wood polesets and 7kM of 300’s conductor.

Boggeragh Windfarm
The 57MW Boggeragh Windfarm located in Co. Cork is Ireland's largest stand alone Windfarm. TLI were contracted to undertake the Network connection design utilising the latest ESB and Eirgrid compatible line design software and to secure approval from Eirgrid.
