Underground Networks & Cabling
TLI Power offer an extensive service of underground ducting works and associated cable laying. TLI Power have previously undertaken underground windfarm connection cabling and also fibre optic ducting projects on behalf of various windfarm developers and utility providers.
TLI Power employ various methods of cable laying depending on the project requirements, specifications and site specific issues. TLI Power have previously utilised the following methods of cable laying: cable ploughing, duct laying and associated cable pulling, trenchless ducting, vibratory ploughing with no strain or friction on the cables. This involves laying cable in grass verge with no damage to the road surface and minimal delay to road users. All TLI Group operatives are fully versed and trained in the sign lighting and guarding requirements and hold the relevant CSCS tickets.
TLI plant division have all the necessary plant including cable carriers, drum trailers, cable jacks, road saws, pulling winches, and all associated civils plant and machinery.
